The club has had another successful season in the Avon League, finishing in second place overall.
Not since 2006 have the Bristol and West U15 boys and U17 girls track and field teams won their age group in the Avon League - but all that changed this season as both teams won their groups. Not to be outdone, the U13 girls also won their age category - that is pretty much unprecedented. We also had the U13 boys and U15 girls both finishing in third. This represents a huge step forward for the juniors at Bristol and West and is testament to all the great work being done in the Academy and supporting coaches.
Congratulations and thanks must go out to Dean and all the other team managers, the coaches and officials and of course the athletes who have made 2021 such a successful year. There's no doubt more work to do, but we are very well placed to move on from here and win every age category next season and with it the overall Avon League title.
