We are always keen to encourage members to give new events a go, and this time we’re focusing on our Masters athletes and giving Cross Country a go!
Below are details of the SWVAC (South West Veterans) Cross-Country Championships. This is a fairly flat course and a very friendly event so, if you have not tried Cross-Country and would like to give it a go, it’s a great event to try! Entrants will be aged 35 onwards.
The 2022 SWVAC Cross Country Champs are scheduled to be held at Sidford Playing Fields, Devon on Sunday 6th February starting at 2pm. There will be one 6km race for all Female and Male age groups. The course will be the same as in January 2019.
You do not have to be speedy, just come for the pleasure of participating. You do not have to be a member of SWVAC.
It would be great to get a good number of B&W Masters out there and we are sure there will be opportunities to car-share. So, if interested please sign up, have some fun and represent our club. Good luck!
